Three Coachella Valley Schools have been named among the 'lowest achieving' schools in California. Coachella Valley Unified's West Shores High , Palm Springs Unified's Desert Hot Springs High , and Desert Sands Unified's Indio High are three of the 188 California public schools identified as persistently lowest achieving, according to data released Monday by department of education.
